How to make an event repeat in Eventonomy, step by step. Open the event from Eventonomy, then Events, go to the Details tab, and find Recurrence under Date and time. Choose Daily, Weekly or Monthly in Repeats, set the gap in Every, set how many dates the series has in End after (Eventonomy Pro), check Upcoming dates, and see the series on the event page.
In this tutorial you will make an event repeat in Eventonomy, so one event gives you a date every week. You need the free Eventonomy plugin. Step three, setting when the series ends, needs Eventonomy Pro. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the event details. Choose how often it repeats. Set when it ends. Check the dates. Then see the series on your site. Step one. Open the event details. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Events, and click the name of the event. The Event Workspace opens. Click the Details tab. Scroll down to the box named Recurrence. Step two. Choose how often it repeats. Repeats starts on None, for an event that happens once. Choose Daily, Weekly or Monthly. This event is set to Weekly. The first date and the time come from Starts, higher up the form. Every sets the gap. One means every week. Two means every other week. Step three. Set when it ends. This box comes with Eventonomy Pro. End after is the number of dates in the series. Here it is 8, so this event runs for eight Tuesdays and then stops. Give your series a number, then click Update event. Step four. Check the dates. Under Recurrence, Upcoming dates lists each date that Eventonomy made from your rule. Each row is one Tuesday, at the same time as the first. One here is marked Cancelled: the next tutorial covers that. Step five. See the series on your site. This is the event page, as a visitor sees it. Upcoming dates shows the series, under the words Repeats weekly. A visitor registers once, and that covers the whole series. On your events page, filtered to one category, the card for this event says Repeats weekly too. That is all five. The event details opened, the repeat chosen, the end set, the dates checked, and the series seen on your site. Your event now repeats on its own. Next in this series: Cancel one date of a repeating event.
