Under Eventonomy, then Settings, then Payments, tick Track organizer earnings and take a platform fee, and set the fee as a percentage or a flat amount. Each organizer sees Earned (net), Outstanding and Paid out under Earnings in the member dashboard, and can ask for a payout. The site owner opens Eventonomy, then Payouts to see who is owed what and who asked, pays the organizer the Owed amount, which already takes off any refunds they owe back, then clicks Mark paid. In this tutorial you will track what your organizers earn in Eventonomy, take a platform fee, and handle a payout request. You need Eventonomy Pro with a payment gateway connected, and organizers who sell tickets. It takes about four minutes. There are five steps. Turn on earnings and set the fee. See what an organizer earned. See a payout request. Open Payouts. Then record a payout. Step one. Turn on earnings and set the fee. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Settings, then Payments. Find the card named Organizer earnings and platform fee. Tick Track organizer earnings and take a platform fee. Orders paid while it is unticked are not recorded as earnings. Platform fee type is a Percentage of each order, or a Flat amount per order. On this site the fee is 10 percent. The fee is your cut of each paid order. The rest is the net earnings of the organizer. Then click Save changes. Step two. See what an organizer earned. Now signed in as a member who sells tickets. In the member dashboard, Earnings opens with its numbers. Earned, net, is the total after your fee. Outstanding is what is still owed. Paid out is what has been paid. Owed back, refunds, appears when a sale is refunded after the organizer was paid for it. It comes off the next payout. Here a sale was refunded after a 261 dollar payout, so Paid out reads 211 dollars 50. Earnings by event lists each event, with its orders, the gross amount, and the net amount on the right. Step three. See a payout request. An organizer with money outstanding can ask to be paid, from this page, with the Request payout button. This organizer has asked. The page reads Payout requested, with the date. A request moves no money. It sends you an email, and flags the organizer on your Payouts screen. Download statement gives the organizer a spreadsheet file of their earnings. Step four. Open Payouts. Now signed in as the site owner. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Payouts. Owed to organizers has one row for each organizer with a balance. An organizer who asked is listed first, marked Payout requested. Owed is the balance. Paid to date is what you have paid so far. Payout to reads Manual when you pay the organizer yourself. Export owed downloads the whole list. Statement, on a row, is for one organizer. Step five. Record a payout. First pay the organizer the Owed amount yourself. It already takes off anything they owe back for refunds. Then click Mark paid on their row. A line now says what Confirm payout will do. Type the number of your transfer in Reference. Confirm payout records the payout and emails the organizer. Payout history, below, keeps every payout, with its reference. That is all five. Earnings turned on with a fee, what an organizer earned, a payout request, the Payouts screen, and how a payout is recorded. You now know what each organizer is owed, and who is waiting. Next in this series: Pay organizers with Stripe Connect.
