How to choose the event page layout in Eventonomy, step by step. Find Default single-event layout under Eventonomy, then Settings, then Appearance, preview Ticket and Classic on a real event without saving, set the layout for the whole site, and give one event its own layout with Page layout in the event editor. Then see the page as a member.
In this tutorial you will choose the layout of your event pages in Eventonomy. There are two. Ticket and Classic. You need the free Eventonomy plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Find the layout setting. Preview Ticket and Classic. Set the site default. Change one event. Then see it as a member. Step one. Find the layout setting. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Settings, then Appearance. Go down to the card named Single event and cards. Default single-event layout has two choices. Ticket and Classic. The Preview line under it opens either layout in a new tab, on a real event. Nothing is saved. Step two. Preview Ticket and Classic. This is the Ticket preview. The cover, the host and who is going sit on the left. Beside them is a ticket, with the date on its stub. People register on it. This is the Classic preview. The cover runs across the top, with the title on it. The registration panel sits beside the details, under the cover. Step three. Set the site default. Back in Appearance, choose Ticket or Classic in Default single-event layout. Every event page uses it. Then click Save changes, at the bottom of the screen. Step four. Change one event. Open the event from Events, and go to its Details tab. Under Appearance is a field named Page layout. It starts on Site default, which follows the setting you chose. Pick Ticket or Classic here, and this event keeps that layout, whatever the site uses. Step five. See it as a member. Sign in as a member and open the event. This site is set to Classic, so the cover runs across the top. Both layouts carry the same details and the same registration. Only the arrangement changes. That is all five. The layout setting found, Ticket and Classic previewed, the site default set, one event changed, and the page seen as a member. Your event pages have the layout you chose. Next in this series: Match your brand colours and display settings.
