In this tutorial you will see how Eventonomy pays organizers through Stripe Connect. You need Eventonomy Pro with organizer earnings switched on, as in the previous tutorial, and a Stripe account that can use Connect. Nothing is connected in this video. It shows each screen and says what follows. There are five steps. Find Stripe Connect. Switch on Connect. Add the Connect webhook. See where organizers connect. Then see how payouts are sent. Step one. Find Stripe Connect. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Settings, then Payments. Stripe Connect is in the Stripe row of the card Payment gateways. It is at the bottom of that row. Each organizer links their own Stripe account, and a payout is sent to it. Organizers who have not connected stay on manual payouts. Connect uses the Secret key saved in this row. None is saved on this site. Step two. Switch on Connect. Tick Let organizers connect their own Stripe account to receive payouts. More fields open under it. Connect client ID comes from the Connect settings in Stripe, after you enable OAuth for Stripe Dashboard accounts there. Paste it here. OAuth redirect URI is where Stripe sends an organizer back. Add it in Stripe, exactly as shown. Step three. Add the Connect webhook. With the box ticked, add the Connect webhook URL in Stripe. Stripe gives that webhook a signing secret. Paste it into Connect webhook signing secret. Through it, Stripe tells your site when an organizer is ready for payouts. Then click Save changes. Organizers can connect once the Secret key and the Connect client ID are both saved. Step four. See where organizers connect. Now signed in as a member who sells tickets. This is Earnings. Connect is not set up on this site. Once it is, a card named Get paid via Stripe sits above these numbers, with the button Connect with Stripe. The organizer clicks it, and approves with their own Stripe account. The card then reads Stripe payouts, connected. Step five. See how payouts are sent. Now signed in as the site owner. Open Eventonomy, then Payouts. Payout to reads Manual for an organizer who has not connected. A connected organizer reads Stripe ready, or Stripe pending until their account is ready. On a Stripe ready row, Mark paid, once you confirm it, sends their balance, less any refund debt, to their Stripe account. If Stripe declines the transfer, nothing is marked paid. On a Manual row, Mark paid only records a payout you made yourself. On a pending row, the site asks Stripe again when you confirm, and sends a transfer if the account is ready by then. Payout history keeps every payout, with its Method. It reads Stripe transfer when the site sent the money, and Recorded when it was paid outside the site, as here. Check it after each payout. That is all five. Stripe Connect found and switched on, the webhook added, where organizers connect, and how payouts are sent. You now know how Stripe Connect pays your organizers. Next in this series: Use the discovery feed and follow organizers.

Seriously, one of the best "software tech experiences" I've ever had!

After 16 years of buying WordPress themes and plugins, I know exactly what bad support looks like and Wbcom Designs is the polar opposite. My setup was a nightmare: multiple tools, deep integrations, custom configurations that required real back-and-forth. Most vendors would've pointed me to a…
