How to show events as a photo grid in Eventonomy Pro, step by step. The Photo grid feature is under Eventonomy, then Settings, then Features and is On from the start with Eventonomy Pro. The grid shows the cover image of each event, set under Appearance on the event's Details tab, with its title and next date. Add the Photo Grid block to any page, or paste the shortcode [eventonomy_photo_grid]. The pictures are event covers, not attendee photos.

In this tutorial you will show your events as a photo grid, a page of pictures with one card for each event. You need Eventonomy Pro, with the free Eventonomy plugin. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Turn on the Photo grid. Give each event a cover image. Add the Photo Grid to a page. Then see the photo grid as a visitor. Step one. Turn on the Photo grid. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Settings, then Features. Find the card named Photo grid. With Eventonomy Pro active it is On from the start. It is a gallery block that shows the cover images from your events. If it reads Off, click the switch, then click Save changes. Step two. Give each event a cover image. The grid uses the cover of each event. Open an event from Events, and go to its Details tab. Under Appearance is Cover image. This event has one. Change image opens your media library, to pick another picture. Step three. Add the Photo Grid to a page. Open Eventonomy, then Blocks. Under Pro blocks, find Photo Grid. In the block editor, add the Photo Grid block to any page. On a classic theme or a page builder, paste its shortcode. Per page sets how many events each load brings in. It starts at twelve. Step four. See the photo grid as a visitor. This page holds the Photo Grid block. Each card is one event, with its cover image, its title and its next date. The pictures are the event covers. They are not photos taken by attendees. Load more, under the grid, adds the next events to the same page. Click a card, and the event page opens, with the way to register. That is all four. The Photo grid turned on, a cover image on each event, the Photo Grid added to a page, and the grid seen as a visitor. Your events now have a page that leads with their pictures. Next in this series: Collect RSVPs and set a capacity.
