How to put more than one organizer or venue on an event in Eventonomy Pro, step by step. Open the event in Eventonomy, then Events and go to its Details tab. In the Organizer section, use Additional organizers: pick one with Add a saved organizer, or click Add organizer and type a name, with an optional email and URL. In the Location section, open Add another venue and pick a saved venue or click Add venue. Click Update event.
In this tutorial you will put more than one organizer, or more than one venue, on an event in Eventonomy. You need Eventonomy Pro, and an event to edit. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the event editor. Add more organizers. Add another venue. Update the event. Then see them on the event page. Step one. Open the event editor. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Events, click an event, and open its Details tab. Scroll to the section named Organizer, and click its heading to open it. The first fields hold the main organizer of the event. Step two. Add more organizers. Under the main organizer is a part named Additional organizers. This event has two. Click the field named Add a saved organizer, and pick one from your list. It is added as a new row. Or click Add organizer for an empty row, and type the name. Email and URL are optional. Each row has its own Remove button. Step three. Add another venue. In the section named Location, under the main venue, is a part named Add another venue. It works the same way. Pick one with Add a saved venue, or click Add venue for an empty row. A venue row holds a Venue name and an Address. This event has a second venue already. Step four. Update the event. Nothing is stored until you click Update event, in the column on the right, under Tags. On a new event, the same button reads Publish event. Step five. See them on the event page. Now sign in as a member, and open the event. Under Hosted by, the main organizer comes first. Each additional organizer has a row of its own under it, with its own follow button, here already Following. In the Location section, the second venue is listed under the first. That is all five. The event editor opened, more organizers added, another venue added, the event updated, and all of them seen on the event page. One event can now name every host and every place. Next in this series: Promote an event.
