How to read orders in Eventonomy, step by step. Open Eventonomy, then Attendees & Orders and click the Orders tab to see every order from every event. Filter by status (All, Paid, Refund requested, Pending, Refunded, Cancelled, Failed), by date with From and To, by order number, name or email, or by event. Click View to open one order: when it was placed, the buyer, the event, the coupon, the Subtotal, Discount and Total, the tickets bought and the attendees. Export orders (CSV) downloads the orders, and Bulk actions cancels several at once.
In this tutorial you will read the orders placed on your events in Eventonomy. You need the free Eventonomy plugin. Orders for paid tickets need Eventonomy Pro and a payment gateway. It takes about four minutes. There are six steps. Open the Orders tab. Filter and find one order. Read the order. Export or cancel orders. Set how orders are numbered and worded. Then see the message as a buyer. Step one. Open the Orders tab. In your WordPress admin, open Eventonomy, then Attendees and Orders, and click the Orders tab. It lists every order from every event, newest first. The columns are Order, Buyer, Event, Status and Total. Step two. Filter and find one order. The row of filters counts the orders in each status: All, Paid, Refund requested, Pending, Refunded, Cancelled and Failed. The list at the end of the search row narrows everything to one event. Here it is one workshop. Click a status to see only those orders. Here it is Paid. An order with a refund request is still paid, so it is counted there too. From and To narrow the list by the date the order was placed. The search box takes an order number, a name or an email. Type it and click Search. The order is found, with its buyer, event, status and total. Step three. Read the order. Click View on the row. The order page opens with its number and its status. Under that are Placed, Buyer and Event. Then the money. This buyer used a Coupon. Subtotal is the tickets, Discount is what the coupon took off, and Total is what was paid. Tickets lists what was bought, and Attendees lists who it was for. Click a name to open that person on the event. Step four. Export or cancel orders. Above the list, Export orders downloads the orders as a spreadsheet file. To cancel several orders at once, tick their rows, choose Cancel orders in Bulk actions, and click Apply. This does not refund. Step five. Set how orders are numbered and worded. On Settings, then Payments, scroll to the card named Orders. Order number prefix is added to the start of every new order number. Order confirmation message is shown to the buyer after a successful order. Refund and cancellation policy is shown on confirmations and order summaries. Left blank, it is hidden. Under it, Billing details to collect is the name and email only, or a full invoice address. Then click Save changes. Step six. See the message as a buyer. Now signed in as the buyer. After an order, the buyer lands on this confirmation. Your Order confirmation message, once you write one, is printed under this order line. A refund policy, once you have written one, is printed under the ticket. That is all six. The Orders tab opened, an order found, the order read, orders exported or cancelled, the settings seen, and the message seen as a buyer. You can now find any order and read what it holds. Next in this series: Set up event emails and edit the templates.
