In this tutorial you will use the member dashboard in Eventonomy, the one page where a member runs their events and tracks the ones they joined. You need the free Eventonomy plugin, and a member account. It takes about three minutes. There are six steps. Open the dashboard. Read your numbers. Manage the events you host. See the events you are attending. Edit your venues and organizers. Then update your profile. Step one. Open the dashboard. Now signed in as a member who organizes events. Open the Manage Events page your site owner links to. It opens on Dashboard. The menu on the left has six sections in the free plugin: Dashboard, Hosting, Create event, Attending, Venues and organizers, and Profile. The others, Analytics, Check in, Saved, Following, My tickets, Earnings, and Connect and Import, come with Eventonomy Pro, which is active on this site. Step two. Read your numbers. Your next event, at the top, is your soonest event, with its date, its place and how full it is. Five numbers follow: Events, Upcoming, Drafts, Registrations, and Attending. Your events lists the events you host, with Edit on each row. Below it, Events you're attending lists the ones you registered for. Step three. Manage the events you host. Click Hosting. Every event you created is listed. The tabs filter them: All, Draft, Pending, Published, Past, and Cancelled. Each row shows the date, the registrations, and how full the event is. Manage opens its list of attendees. The three dots beside it hold more, such as View event, Edit, Copy link, Duplicate, and Cancel event. Step four. See the events you are attending. Click Attending. These are the events you registered for, on four tabs: Going, Maybe, Waitlist, and Past. View opens the event page. The three dots beside it hold Cancel registration, for when you can no longer go. Step five. Edit your venues and organizers. Click Venues and organizers. It has two tabs, Venues and Organizers, each with a count. These are the places you added, with how many events use each. Under the name it reads Not verified, until the site owner verifies it. Then it reads Verified. Add venue makes a new one. Edit opens the form in the row, with fields such as Name, City and Address. The Organizers tab works the same way, for the hosts you added. Step six. Update your profile. Click Profile. Display name is the name other members see. Bio and Website sit under it. Billing and invoice details holds the name, email and phone for your receipts. Then click the button under it to store your changes. Email preferences, at the foot, says which event emails you get. That is all six. The dashboard opened, your numbers read, the events you host, the events you are attending, your venues and organizers, and your profile. You now know every section of the member dashboard. Next in this series: Report an event, and handle the report.
